Every installation team we send to site is our own, not subcontracted labor hired for the day. That matters because flooring installation is a trade skill, and the difference between a floor that lasts fifteen years and one that fails within two often comes down to how carefully adhesives are applied, how joints are staggered, and how expansion gaps are handled at the edges. Our teams are trained on the specific material being installed, whether that’s vinyl, carpet tile, rubber, or a resin system, since each has its own handling requirements and setting times.
We also plan installation sequencing around how the building will actually be used during the works. In an occupied hospital, school, or retail space, that can mean working in phases, at night, or in sections that are handed back to the client as they’re completed, so the rest of the facility keeps operating. On new-build projects, our teams coordinate directly with the other trades on site to avoid the delays and rework that come from flooring being installed too early or in the wrong sequence.
Once the floor is down, we don’t consider the job finished until it’s been walked, checked against the original specification, and signed off with the client on site.
